I have carried out the inbound & out bound survey of region and having the details of all different vehicle trips, Now I would like to convert these data of vehicle trips in to persons trips, so what are the ways / IS codes / standard codes of converting vehicle trip data in to person trip data ?
In my humble opinion, there is no standard code to convert vehicle trips into person trip since every single vehicle will be occupied with different number of persons/passengers. I believe that the best way is to survey the passenger occupancy ratio of each kind of vehicle, than converting it will be easier.
