We are interested in determining anorexigenic (ither peptide YY, cholecystokinin, or Glp-1) and orexigenic (Ghrelin) peptides in mouse plasma to determine their anorexigenic/orexigenic status.
I would be pleased if someone from the researchgate community could suggest me (according to their experience) the best suitable (ELISA) kits to directly address this issue in plasma samples.
FYI, plasma from mice are frozen at -80ºC, but they were obtained after a 5-h food deprivation. Can someone indicate if these samples might be useful? or may be better if we could obtain new blood samples in postprandial conditions (eg, mice without food deprivation or induced after an oral gavage).
Thanks a lot in advance!
