Nowadays, research data can be published and uploaded in different repositories such as Zenodo, IEEE and Mendeley. Many national RTO and universities also offer this service. The procedure is very similar and in all cases a DOI is automatically assigned. The key question is which one is the most appropriate for engineering/process data and why according to the actual EU data regulation.
Zenodo is hosted at CERN. Physically, Zenodo's entire technical infrastructure is located on CERN's premises which is subject to CERN's legal status. Despite the fact that this means CERN has a special status, Zenodo striving for the same high standards of data protection afforded by GDPR.
Zenodo evaluates and ensures that any third-party tools, services and projects are GDPR compatible. It stores our engineering /process data using the same backups and protection as the LHC at CERN.

Thank Ajit Singh for your response. I am also thinking in Mendeley (Elsevier) because the repository is in Europe. Is the visibility of Zenodo similar to Mendeley from the viewpoint of searching engines?
Hopefully, there should not be any partiality by search engines while crawling the research paper/data from these repository.
It depends upon our knowledge and satisfaction while working with zenodo as compare to mendeley.
