Does anyone has an idea about the best protocol for obtaining highly stabilized spin-coated film of silica hybrid sol on gold sensor?

I have prepared silica sol using the sol-gel technique and have spin coated the gold sensor with 100 uL of the sol for 4000 rpm for 20 s. However, after vacuum drying for 12 hours, the coated films deplete off the gold surface during immersion in any liquid or blowing with Nitrogen gas. 

How can I obtain a strong film adhesion and stability on the gold electrode?
