I'm going to extract total DNA (both gDNA and plasmid DNA) from Lactobacillus (gram positive) for qPCR. So far I found some protocols using either glass-beads or enzymatic method (only for gram negative, but it may work on gram+ if having some modification regarding Proteinase K and Lysozyme).

However, I do not know which method is suitable for qPCR.

Could anyone give me an advice?
