(iii) Timely exact quantity delivery
(iv) Specifying all conceivable design features
I believe all are important
I am ordering as per my personal sequential order and liking

Concerning JIT purchasing, I think that the respect of delivery deadlines wouldn't be an essential requirement...because the supply chain risk is then great enough.
All (i) to (iv) are important besides there has to be a sufficient degree of trust between two parties !
I find all of them are important, without any of their presence JIT would be difficult to achieve.
All four are important; ii & v pertain to purchase obligations whereas i & iii impact safety stock based on the uncertainty involved.
