East and West longitudes are given in X axis and

North and South latitudes are given in Y axis....

Initially I had a confusion that latitude is in X axis and longitude is in Y axis, but value of lat' varies in Y axis( so latitude is given in Y coordinates ) and similarly Longitude varies in X axis, so its X coordinates. :)
