Different personality traits are associated with different neuropsychological configurations. For example, the personality traits that shape psychopathy, and therefore are good predictors of cheating behavior, are associated with specific patterns of neurocognitive and affective functioning (see Dolan & Park, 2002), which can be assessed by neuropsychological tests and tasks.
