It is probably due to the inherent cellular microenvironment of epidermis that it may be required to position keratinocytes with high spatial resolution onto the dermis region, which is hard to accomplish via extrusion-based cell-printing method and the main limitation with inkjet-based bioprinting is the mechanical properties that printed structures are vulnerable due to use of low viscosity bioink, which in turn impedes the creation fully functional 3D structure. So which is better inkjet-based or extrusion-based?
