I am looking to classify different identification strategies based on their drawbacks, and find out under what circumstances they fail to successfully identify the desired unknown structural parameters. for instance, Lyapunov based synchronization strategies depend heavily on the linear independency of the modelling equations. I want to know whether this condition holds for other strategies.
