My question : which environmental aspect is s to consider in a seawater desalination project?

Aside from the general impacts of construction and long term operation of an industrial scale facility, the major issue associated with desalination is brine handling, either through discharge or reuse as brine.
If discharged it must be diffused to dilute it so as to not cause adverse effects in the zone of mixing.
