Hello !

I have plated human microglia in a 96w plate, to which I added protein aggregates, after 24h I collected the supernatant (50-100µL). The idea was to screen pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1alpha/IL-1beta, IL-6, TNF-alpha, IFN-gamma, IL-18 which I found in litterature). There is a multitude of ELISA kits, multiplex kits etc. I figured that a multiplex kit would be more appropriate, given the limited amount of cell supernatant and the fact that it's faster/cheaper. I don't have experience in this at all.

Is there any kit that would be more appropriate for this assay? Are the cytokines I found relevant or are there any other that are more relevant?

If any of you have done this assay or a similar one and have some advice, it would be greatly appreciated !

Thank you !
