Title says it all. I have never published yet, and I was wondering which data is presented in article figures.
In my case, I have performed an experiment in biological triplicates at once, and I repeated the whole thing on 3 separate occasions (independently).
Do I present all 9 replicates in my figure ? Or is it a mean+SD from the means of the 3 independant experiments. Or do I pick one experience that is the most representative ?

Present all the data for transparency. But the triplicates may not be true replicates unless you designed the experiment properly. They may be subsamples. Replicates can be presented separately, sub-samples cannot

They are true biological replicates and not subsamples, I made sure of that.
I think it's good if as much data as possible is presented in figures for transparency, but mean values with error bars are good too
