i have been working on the anti-inflammatory effect of Spirulina (Arthrospira platensis) on the S. mansoni induced granulomatous response. but one i have completed the experiment i have found a controversial result among treatment dose and route. i have been trying to explain it in terms of cytokines that intermediate the delayed type inflamatory response, but i have found that there is no clear understanding of cytokines and chemokines involved and their actual effect during acute and chronic stages of the infection. so is there any one that can help me by explaining this facts. thanks
