In the U.S.A.: Child-Parent Psychotherapy which is within a psychodynamic framework is a manualized, evidence-based treatment for multi-problem families with violence exposure (see Lieberman AF et al.,. 2005). The David Olds homevisiting model was also designed for high-risk teen moms and infants.

I guess you are interested in mental/behavioural treatment outcomes of home-based programmes.
Evidence based programmes that are 100% home-based, are rare. The David Olds programme Daniel was mentioning is a good exception, but has not been implemented widely in Europe.
Nowadays, so-called systems therapies include sessions at the family's home, in addition to sessions at the office. It is possible to do all sessions at home or near the home.
The systems therapies best supported by evidence, and best disseminated across Europe (although unevenly and not everywhere) are MDFT and MST. Both MDFT and MST have positive effects on substance abuse, criminality, truancy, mental/behavioural co-morbidity.
MDFT and MST have been evaluated in numerous systematic literature reviews and by many accreditation agencies and professional societies.

Do you know other approaches which are evaluated or treatments whose effectiveness has not been evaluated but are used in patient care in Europe, North America, South America or Asia or in the Netherlands?

Two more programs are FFT (Functional Family Therapy) and BSFT. BSFT is not wide-spread. FFT is being practiced in Europe, but in fewer countries and on a smaller scale than MDFT and MST.

The therapies Marizela refers to are family based adolescent treatment programmes. (Also called: systems therapies). One should be added to her list: MDFT (multidimensional family). MDFT is quite prevalent in the USA, the Netherlands and Finland, is gearing up in France, and has some roots in Belgium, Estonia, Germany and Switzerland.
