I think all molecular grade Urea brands should work. In my experience from the last four years, I used BioRad, which I feel the best one for any kind of protein work.
Make sure if you are using Thiourea with urea in the work process, then both should from the same brand, because of issues by company defaults.
I am using urea from Sigma (U6504) for electrophoresis. Their U5378 is suitable for molecular biology and cell culture. For electrophoresis I would assume any analytical grade urea should work, for cell culture, I assume that some cells may show preferences towards a specific brand.
