Hello everyone!

I have a problem, that is when i perform a finite element analysis (for example, to a beam that has high of across-section is invariant), i can easily have a formular of element mass matrix, Me (i search on Google). But if i want to do the analysis for a beam that high of across-section is VARIANT (assume that is linear). So, i want to how can i build a element mass matrix?

Or, for various element types (solid, bar, and so on), how the element mass matrix of these was built ?

In summary, Which book can i find formular of mass matrix of different finite element types?

Thank you so much!
