In the Romanian rural area there is a high share of inactive people (four out of ten people in working age are inactive persons). People with low education and training levels, domestic women, long-term unemployed, elderly workers, people with disabilities, etc., have a high share among inactive people.What are good practices to support Social Entrepreneurship in Romanian Rural Areas?
Stimulating local entrepreneurship talent is one of the best ways. A good approach may be to understand the history of these places, namely if there are natural resources or personality traits that allow these people to create their own business in an area that is familiar to them.

Thank you very much for your answer. I agree with your idea of developing small / family businesses using local natural resources and taking into account the personality traits of people and the habits of a familiar area.
I consider that encouraging productivity and development of rural entrepreneurship initiatives, collaborative economic spirit(also for strategic marketing) within rural communities and creating family businesses in the area familiar to the rural population, according to the competitive advantages of the areas(agriculture, rural tourism, wool, ceramics etc) might be possible solutions. The main economic activity - the agricultural one is unfortunately mainly subsistence in Romanian rural areas, with low productivity. In the areas where there is a stronger entrepreneurship spirit, good infrastructure and investments for competitive advantages the situation is different .

Thank you very much for the answer. Indeed, there is a need for market orientation of agricultural activities in small farms in a collaborative economic spirit and for competitive non-agricultural activities with high added value.
