Dear all,
In literature we see Johansen co-integration test is multivariate test.
We find papers on Bivariate Johansen co-integration also. some experts say It is a multivariate test so should be applied on more then two variables not for two variables only.
So whether it is valid to run Bivariate Johansen cointegration test using two variables only?
If not we also find in literature Multivariate BEKK GARCH models it means it is also not valid to run Multivariate BEKK GARCH model with two variables only. We should take more then two variables in this case also.
Still why experts take examples of only two variables to make people understood this Multivariate BEKK GARCH.
Why they do Bivariate BEKK GARCH if it is a Multivariate test.
Thanks and regards...
