I have submitted a manuscript about the catalytic degradation of organic compounds using material that possesses magnetic properties. The reviewer suggested a discussion about whether the magnetic properties affect the degradation rate. I searched publications related to this field but still have no idea. Thus I hope everyone could support me in this question
A similar comment was given to me by a reviewer stating "The requirement of magnetic properties computation and its importance for the photocatalytic performance of the catalyst". Numerous papers have been published with catalytic and magnetic properties, although a direct relationship has not yet been discussed. But the magnetic state determines the adsorption capability of the adsorbates over the adsorbent hence the intermediate's adsorption directly affects the rate or reaction or overpotential therefore it should be necessarily studied.

Thank you for your suggestion. Indeed, the relationship between magnetic properties and catalytic activity has rarely been reported in papers related to catalytic fields. By the way, your comment gave me a direction to address the reviewer's comment.
