Estimating Reservoir Porosity:

Given the fact that the spatial (and temporal) distribution of grain-size vary so heterogeneously in a given reservoir along with the introduction of pockets of secondary cements locally, to what extent, we will be able to justify the measurement of average reservoir porosity - from a few samples obtained from drilling along with the additional samples of rock taken from the outcrops?

To what extent, we have progressed towards the estimation of total quantity of stored oil in the field – with the recent technological advancements?

Whether the advancements have really helped in deducing the actual recoverable oil (RF) – precisely - from the total stored oil?

Whether the data from seismic studies can be correlated with the “dynamics” of oil/gas mobility in a given reservoir? In particular, what happens, when the oil remains associated with solution cavities or in high permeable fractures?
