A reviewer suggests that "The Tauc plot is only valid for semiconducting materials", and I did not have any idea about the conducting nature of my organic material since it is not my interest. I have found that the band gap of my organic material is 4eV theoretically, and roughly the same is obtained from the Tauc plot also. Hence, I request a help whether a Tauc plot is suitable for organic molecules to find the band gap or not...? It would be appreciable if you could suggest some papers also...!
