I tried those links but there are issues. As suggested earlier, for watershed modelling, you can generate pseudo land use data from land cover. Hence, you can use the global land cover data as suggested. The land cover will give an idea of land use though in broad classification.

Global land cover (GLC) data is available from different sources. You may check:

1. The ESA-GlobCover data (ca 300 m resolution) can be accessed from: http://due.esrin.esa.int/page_globcover.php

2. Recently, GLC data produced from Landsat images (30 m resolution) for the years 2000 and 2010 is made available from China’s GLC mapping project. You can access the data at: http://www.globallandcover.com/GLC30Download/index.aspx

3. Also, check the following link for more GLC data sources: http://worldgrids.org/doku.php/wiki:land_cover_and_land_use

Note: Most GLC data are validated. Even so, validation using data from your area of interest is often advised.

The GLC data is available in raster format and requires some GIS processing for use in ArcSWAT.
