The image show a view in the collimating telescope of a FG5 absolute gravimeter. In the center the almost perfectly overlapping ref- and meas-beam can be seen. The verticality is aligned, the both beams are in the center of the viewport and with their axis in east/west orientation, whereas the measurement direction is north. Additionally, a small bright reflection to the left of the main beams can be seen. Does anybody has an idea where it comes from or what to adjust to get rid of?
The scattered light is not real it is due to the fact that mobile phones are perhaps not the best choice of taking such pictures, but sufficient.
