I am working on a project using Arc map 10.2. I want to use 'Extent' and 'Cell size' from the option menu in Arc map 10.2. I added Spatial Analyst from the tools menu and enabled it to form extensions. Spatial Analyst was added to the toolbar, but the Spatial Analyst drop down box has disappeared. I cannot find out 'Option' menu.
Can anyone help me to improve this?
Should I remove 10.2 version and Install version 9?

Hi Mohammad, all the spatial analyst functions are still available in the newest software but you have to work through ArcToolbox as the Spatial analyst dropdown box in ArcMap is no longer supported by the new software.

In Arc map 9 i could do it with option menu and 'Extent tab' and 'Cell size tab'
but now I can not find these tools in arc tools.

I'm using ArcGIS 10.1, but try searching the help section of your software for "the analysis environment of Spatial Analyst". There you may find an explanation of how to create masks that is specific to the software version you are using. Hope this helps.
Below is an example of the result I get when I search the above;
"To create a raster mask, one method would be to use the Reclassify tool, assigning NoData to those cells you want to exclude.
To create a feature mask, create an empty feature class in ArcCatalog, then define the area of interest (the mask) using the ArcMap Editor toolbar. "

I found what should I do.
I should use Extract by Polygon or Extract by Mask. but it does not work as well as i want. I saved the map in JPEG format and take it to Photoshop and edited the map. I takes a lot of time but it work very well

One option is to reset ArcMap by deleting the Normal.mxt document found in: Arc 10: C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\ESRI\Desktop10.0\ArcMap\Templates or in earlier versions: C:\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME]\Application Data\ESRI\ArcMap\Templates
I would either rename the Normal.mxt or create a backup first. The next time you open ArcMap it will be back at the factory settings.
