I would like to know where do you usually send to sequencing since I am looking for cheaper prices than those ones that we have here in Mexico (I would like to do sanger sequencing). I hear that some companies in China are very cheap, efficient and fast, but I would like to know your opinion and if is possible an approximate cost per sample.

I am Currently working in Xcelris Labs, we too do 16s sequencing, might be more cost effective and quick. try sending samples to us.. give my reference, send in quries to [email protected]
I don't have any experience with the service that you seek, but I have had many business dealing with a wide variety of organisations in China and have always been impressed with the quality and value for money. My recommendation is that find a laboratory that can meet your service needs, start a dialogue so you get to know them, and then get some sequencing done.
You may find it easiest to communicate by email. Although most Chinese scientists are quite competent in English, speaking on the phone is not always so easy.
We do Sanger sequencing every day. Users of our service drop off or mail purified PCR, and tell us which primers they used; we probably use the same primers as you for 16S. Your costs would include shipping to us, as they would to anywhere outside your own town. International shipping of a 96-well plate is not so expensive...
