The properties of exhaust gases at high pressure will not be given in any heat transfer data book. However, defining components like CO2, SO2, CO, NOx etc.in the exhaust gas seperately and in some cases with respect to their partial pressure in exhaust gas, the properties may be found in Process Heat Transfer text books or chemical engineering text books or Hand Book of Heat Transfer . The correct properties of exhaust gases (blast furnace gas, coke oven gas etc in steel plants, natural and other gases evolved from petroleum products etc from petroleum refineries etc.) can be had in detail and in specific in their company catalogues. Determination of properties of components of exhaust gases is purely practical and are used for specific studies and applications only.
