Instead of searching for a cropped version of the FERET database. It is better to request it via the NIST website. Instructions can be found here - https://www.nist.gov/itl/iad/image-group/color-feret-database
After approval, they'll send you a download link. Then, using any face detection method (e.g. Viola-Jones , there are better options out there) you can get the cropped version. Hope this helps.
Thanks for your answer. I have already done your proposal, however, the face images are not precisely detected using automatic detectors. I am seeking for cropped images either manually or using ground truth information.
Thanks for your answer. A few tightly cropped samples are not sufficient for my work. I need the cropped images to be with some background and for the whole database.
