I want to atomize a nickel-based alloy for a research project. The melting temperature of the alloy is about 1500 C. I want to atomize an amount of 5 kg. My first choice is gas atomization, but water atomization is also sufficient for us. Where can I get this procedure done in Europe or the United States?

There are a lot of different nickel alloy powders on the world market that you can buy. If you certainly want to spray your alloy, then I want to warn you right away that this is a very expensive undertaking: your 5 kg of powder will come out almost at the price of gold.
You need your alloy rods. There are firms that take orders for spraying rods into powders, for example:

I’m not sure but thermal plasma treatment can be used for atomization.
