I want to study transitional metal salts and their solubility in different solvents, to synthesis nanomaterials (binary and tertuary metal oxides) and their films by chemical methods. I need to know all source of transitional metals and their solubility in possible solvents. Since I am not chemist it is difficult for me to find. Please help.
you can consult the data packs of Aldrich, Fluka or other chemical suppliers. As for as solubility is concerned , please use the Hildebrand solubility parameter, as the Hildebrand solubility parameter (δ) provides a numerical estimate of the degree of interaction between materials and look for the salt and solvent values. where both values match or there is very little difference, then you can try the solvent for the particular salt.
