A chemical with multiple acidic hydrogens will have multiple pKa points as they sequentially dissassociate from the parent molecule into a conjugate base.
Dear Mr Eltouky, These values for pKa were estimated by software. I read a litlte about the software and seem that the values were estimated in strongest acid and strongest base. I searched the molecular structure these drugs. Almotriptan and rizatriptan are amines, sumatriptan presents acid group, amine group and sulfonamide group, and finally, zolmitriptan presents amide group and amine group. Because amine groups, these drugs could be bases. I found an article intitled: pKa Values of Medicinal Compounds in Pharmacy Practice Ann Pharmacother September 1978 12: 546-554. However, it is not available to download for me. Maybe you get them in your institution. I hope that this article help you. Best regards.
It contains an acidic and also a basic group. The acidic gruop is very weak. The pKa of the conjugated base is 9.55. This means that the pKb is 4.45. So this is practically a weak base.
