I have spent years on social media discussing sexual response. Very few people appear capable of articulating on the subject. Sexual ignorance abounds even among those who are qualifications in sexology. I am looking for adults who have sexual experience and the ability to discuss sexuality objectively. I am hoping for people who are able to be explicit and who can differentiate between erotic fiction (what we would like to believe is true) and reality (what is true of our real-life relationships.

Thanks Kasra for your answer but I have not heard from you! Given you are the only person to volunteer any discussion of sexuality, naturally I am keen to find out what you have to say. I have found that people either quote from books are say that they are too busy to talk. Somehow sex remains taboo even among those whose profession it is to shed some light on the taboo, which is due to sexual ignorance. I am trying to bring some common sense to what is promoted about sex and especially about women's sexuality.

I wish you good luck but essentially you have joined the infinite list of people who are not interested in discussing sexuality.
You need to be curious if you want to succeed in research. The problem is that sexology is more of a political science than a truly scientific challenge of all the sexual ignorance that abounds.
Sex researchers need to challenge all the assumptions that are made and the old wives' tales that are believed throughout the population. This aim is core to my work.
I would like to publish an article with you on this topic. An article that leads to the exploration of women's sexual satisfaction from the anthropological method. We can make a comparison between my two countries and yours.
To be scientific, you need to be specific. What do you mean by "women's satisfaction"? I am talking about sexual response, which is triggered by the brain's response to eroticism that causes the genital tumescence that makes orgasm possible. You appear to be talking about attitudes in society. This is similar to a meteorologist talking about people's attitudes towards rain. Sexology should be a true science, which involves challenging the ludicrous suggestions for how women are believed to orgasm with a lover. None of these would be possible for a man. Yet men believe that women are capable of sexual feats that even men cannot achieve. I would be amazed if you would find even one woman who is willing to talk about sexuality in your country. I have found very few women over decades who will make any comment whatsoever on sex. If women were aroused, they would know what caused their arousal. If they had orgasms, they would be able to explain what anatomy they are stimulating. Very few women are willing to be specific and those who are simply reflect back the sexual ignorance in society: that women in real life are supposed to respond as the actresses do in pornography.
