I have cholesterol levels (total, HDL and LDL) for male and female hypertensive mice and want to compare them with normal reference values for cholesterol for male and female mice to compare my data. Can someone please help me find out those normal ranges. I have been looking at various research papers, but has not gotten any values I can compare with.

Generally, whenever a biological evaluation is performed, a healthy control group is used for comparison. If you did not take that into consideration, you could look for articles where that use mice of the same strain as the one you used, as well as other similar characteristics such as age and weight. In addition, if they have made determinations of the values you are looking for, it may be difficult for a journal reviewer to take it as valid when publishing your research in a scientific journal.
