do you want to dope “polypropylene”, or what is your understanding of "PP"? If you meant "polypyrrole", "PP" is not the correct abbreviation.
PP / polypropylene can not be doped. What is the purpose of doping it?
PPy / polypyrrole is the worst conductive polymer (2nd worst after polyacetylene) and can not be collected in neutral form before doping, only in doped form.
Bernhard I will use polypropylene on purpose. PP is common abbreviation in industry. Either way it is not the point that I am discussing. Any help will be appreciated.
yes, PP is the usual abbreviation for polypropylene, then my above question holds: what is the purpose of doping PP? as far as I know, PP can not be doped, not in the usual sense of "doping".
Do you want to make it conductive?
and do you look for nano-sized PP if you want to dope it?
Actually I am pretty sure that PP will work for my work even if I cannot dope. The main purpose of using it is its density. You know that we can find commerical nanosized metal particles everywhere but I cannot find PP.
