I currently working on a personal project and for this I need stereo vision in order to do some analysis with OpenCv.
I was unaware that it is impossible to synchronize webcams and thus I started looking for camera with external trigger.
But I'm only finding really expensive ones.
Would you know where I can find a 1080p@30fps camera with an external trigger?
It's for low speed flying insect tracking (mosquitoes)

We often use videosurveillance camera kits for our tracking experiments.
They are really inexpensive, have build-in infra-red lighting, hard-drives and can be remote-controlled with computer or mobile phones.
And cherry on the cake, they are easy to plug & use!

To the best of my knowledge, nothing cheap comes with triggering options, Sorry.
Best bet is to use GigE or Point grey or Besler cameras. They have inbuilt support for the external triggers and can work in master (one triggered) slave (other follow) configuration as well. If you find any cheap solution do share please.
