For the melting point range of natural waxes you may find particularly useful Table 2.97, entitled "Physical Properties of Waxes", at James G. Speight (Ed.), "Lange's Handbook of Chemistry", 16th ed., 2005, McGraw-Hill. For typical petroleum wax properties (including melt range and viscosity at 99 ºC) you may check Table 3 (p. 17) at William E Nasser, "Waxes, Natural and Synthetic"; in: John J. McKetta (Ed.), "Encyclopedia of Chemical Processing and Design", Vol. 67, Marcel Dekker, New York, 1999, pp. 11-18. Dealing with paraffin wax properties, the supplier's information is often particularly valuable, since the properties of the actual wax greatly depend on refinement grade.
