There are certain medical conditions when an individual requires life support - such conditions vary in their nature; for example, in terminally ill patients, or in people who become accidentally injured, or in comatose victims, among others.
When conventional medical procedures fail to introduce any improvement to the patient requiring life support, often a conflicting debate arise - within physicians or patient's family or even among each constituency - on whether to unplug the patient or not.
