Scientists say that ecosystems and many human systems are vulnerable and exposed to climate-related extremes, such as heat waves, droughts, floods, cyclones, and wildfires. Impacts of such climate-related extremes include alteration of ecosystems, disruption of food production and water supply, damage to infrastructure and settlements, morbidity and mortality, and consequences for mental health and human well-being.

So far I analyse the climate change effects on so many parameters but ultimately on temperature thus directly affecting water resources. Flooding seen in the Himalayan countries like Nepal and India is the similar impact. In this way, agriculture product outcome will be decreased. This can be correlated to Malthusian theory according to whom the food resources increased arithmetically but due to the above reason the agriculture commodities decreased.
Please have a look to SDGs to be more fitted with UN targets. Then, we can link between CC and Water.

There is a direct link between Water availability-Agriculture-Population. One of the anticipated impacts of Climate Change is the change in the rainfall pattern in terms of intensity and distribution over a given period. This may cause drought or floods, which will ultimately affect the traditional agricultural activities there by creating crop losses and reduction in food production, leading to increase in the cost of food grains and starvation by the poor. I personally feel that Climate Change is yet to be experienced to the extent all of us are fearing and it is only the anticipated adverse effects for which the whole world is only preparing to face the challenges. There are variations in the weather conditions from year to year, but that if one analyses, these types of extremes have taken place many times in the past also and we have over come from such climatic adversities.
Climate change will affect both agriculture and water resources as both are complementary to each other. There will regional imbalances in agricultural areas, productivity and production and same will be in case of water resources polar ice melting creates new water resources but desert ecosystem will find more water is question. Coastal agriculture will perish and so other aqua flora and fauna.

this is a very complex question, because CC has different impacts on water resources and agriculture at different places. Some locations will benefit while other are negatively affected.
