I have data on crop yield for 600 districts of India. I wish to conduct trend analysis of this yield for each district for say last 20 years. To conduct trend analysis, Man-Kendall test is well known, hence I wish to use the same. However, I have read that if the data series has an issue of auto-correlation , modified man kendall should be used. Shall I automate autocorrelation test for each district and then apply apply man kendall/modified man kendall accordingly ? Or can I blindly apply modified man kendall to each district?
