Yes, we're seeing new "rejection of the oppression to which the Palestinian people are subject", but the Western governments AND MEDIA continue to obfuscate the difference between Judaism and Zionism. By formally conflating the two - as the US Congress has just done - they are intentionally trying to quash criticism of Zionism by equating it with antisemitism. It is of a piece with the whole history since 1948 of focusing on past injustices to Jews to cover up current injustices to both Muslim and anti-Zionist Jewish Palestinians.
