We treated male rats in Oxymorphone drug and then serum levels of thyroid hormones were evaluated.

I think T3 and T 4 can increase together but they have inverse association with TSH
TSHoma (very rare)
TSH resistance (also a rare condition) can also present with high TSH and T4 levels.
T4 intake before taking the blood sample.

Drug intake can influence TSH secretion, which is probably the cause of your observation, but usually Morphine lowers TSH levels...

Dear Dr Furlan, your point of view about TSH resistance seems to be a strong recognition. However, I have to search more to find a reasonable mechanism which justify that how oxymorphone can causes TSH resistance!
