I am in the areas of information sciences/bibliometrics, and my key sources are the subscription databases, Clarivate Analytics, and its sub- databases, Scopus, and to some extent the Google Scholar which is open and a good source for very old indexed material.
My go to sources are usually PubMed and the Cochrane library, I complement them with some other databases like Sage/Elsevier when I want to also include research focusing on the social/organisational sides of things.
Avishag Gordon Thank you for your response. Yes, I just recently became aware of Clarivate Analytics. In fact, I requested a ResearcherID and uploaded my documents last week. The challenge has been in locating the emails for reviewing on Publons but I am trying to gather as many as possible. Clarivate is also a great place to locate reviewers when you are asked to list names to peer-review your manuscript submissions.
Christine Jacob The Cochrane Library is a great source for information on the other side of the 'pond' an PubMed serves as another great source for my own research, as well. I have not accessed Sage but have been reviewing some of the material. The advantage of Elsevier databases is the association with SCOPUS. I wonder how all of these are valued towards achieving tenure track status at your university. Perhaps Avishag Gordon can also answer this.
While I have used articles from Wiley publications, I have not gone to them directly for a literature review. I have just been introduced to their Connections website and have been finding a lot of good information.
