I am comparing two methods of determining the strain of the heart. I have used one way ANOVA, but looking at past literature that compared methods of determining strain, they use Bland Altman statistics.

What are your variables and what is your research question?
If you want to show whether the two measures give similar results, then I agree with Bland & Altmann that it's better to look at the confidence interval of the difference rather than to only test significance. Using Bayesian methods would probably be even better, since null hypothesis statistical tests (including ANOVA and looking at confidence intervals) only test differences, not sameness.

I would like to see if the strain values i obtain from ultrasound using Speckle tracking echocardiography are the same as those obtained using MRI using Feature tracking.
In MRI, I have two Feature Tracking methods, one is only a year old. I would like to see if it produces similar results as the method already in existance.
Your study seems to be an agreement study because you seem to try to confirm that the new method produces similar results to the old one.
If this is your case, then you could use Bland-Altman and Anova or t-tests are irrelevant.
