At what stage—high school, undergraduate, or only in graduate programs—are new researchers typically trained across different countries and subject areas? How are they prepared, and what models or role references do early-career researchers and scientists follow to pursue their academic paths with fewer setbacks?

I am particularly interested in whether there are shared practices or distinct strategies across regions or disciplines that help researchers build productive, ethical, and resilient careers from the outset.
