My current favorite has to be the first half of Gould's "The Structure of Evolutionary Theory." However, I'm always in the mood to read about science history. What are some of your recommended titles?
J. D. Bernal's monumental work Science in History in 4 volumes is considered as the best and pioneering.Unfortunately the advances, inventions & discoveries occurred after Bernal's death have to be investigated from other sources, of course.
