Authors and coauthors in publications, order of authors, IF of the journal to publish a paper, h-index, i10-index, RG Score and many other metrics are available to “evaluate” the scientists. I sometimes wonder if the articles should be published as an anonymous work, and only our institutions should know what articles belong to us. Maybe, a publication should reveal the name of the authors, only if it has been cited more than 30, or 50 times… Would that help to avoid biases in the journals to publish papers of popular scientists? Would that help young or unknown scientists to get their papers published in high impact journals?
