The OCP test of an oxide material applied as the cathode in a 2-electrode coin cell set-up was done. The OCP value did not show a constant value and it kept increasing during the test. What would lead to such an effect? Is this observation related to a chemistry change triggered by cation leaching or cathode dissolution by the liquid electrolyte? Or this is something related to the fabrication process? Any help would be appreciated!
