During concrete fire testing, spalling of the concrete slab happens rapidly : pieces of concrete are expelled more or less violently.
The visible optical images taken by endoscopic cameras are blurred by dust and small particles.
Thermal infrared wouldn't be able to see through this hot and dusty atmosphere because of the high thermal radiation of the dust, masking the image of the concrete slab.
Any idea for a particular imaging or optical technique? Thanks,
Christophe
