I've been reading and it seems that this method works for E. Coli. Maybe you could find some references inside to see if it can be applied to other strain.

Also, there must be probably some CRISPR KO technology development going on for bacteria, so try to look for them.
If you KO one of the subunit of a complex, probably you will have degradation of the other subunits, but sometimes it's not the true, so if a simple KO doesn't work, you will probably have to KO all of the subunits.
