I am currently working on yeast metabolism considering various nutritional requirements, for that purpose, I need a defined chemical media for utilization of organic acids as carbon source. But until now, I am unable to find such definite media. So, it will be helpful if someone could please provide me any reference or media composition.
Probably, the easiest solution would be using YNB (Yeast Nitrogen Base, Wickerham formula) with desired acid or acids mixture. YNB has defined composition and is commercially available, e.g. from Difco BD. YNB was used to determine assimilation of carbon sources by yeasts.
Most minimal mineral media are quite similar in composition. Search for M9 minimal medium, it's pretty common

I don't have any but you can take a look into the International Journal of Systematic and Evolutionary Microbiology in the Eukaryotes section as they require a C/N utilization profiles for new species, though it is not required by the Botanical Code.
You can also take a look to the Biolog plates (they call them phenotype microarrays), already prepared with many C-sources for testing

As indicated by other responders, many synthetic media for cultivation of yeasts have been described in the literature? In Delft, we use one that was designed by Van Dijken in the 1990's, a.k.a. Known as Verduyn medium.
In simple batch cultures (e.g plates, flasks) culture pH can present be a bit of a dilemma when an organic acid) or rather, its salt) is used as sole carbon source. A low initial pH is undesirable, since may weak organic acids are toxic at low pH. On the other hand, consumption of these substrates during growth causes medium alkalization. When growing yeasts on acetate, lactate, succinate etc, we usually set the initial pH at 6.0.
In bioreactor cultures, pH auxostat cultivation, with a feed consisting of a concentrated solution of a weak organic acid, is a nice trick to prevent alkalization and salt accumulation.
Just go through some media composition books or look for Koser's citrate medium composition on the net. The base of that medium should work well with organic acids as carbon source. Note in some places they add small yeast extract. Do not do add this at the first place. Use it without any such complex organic materials. If required then may be at a later stage you may consider the addition of YE as a remote possibility.
